Kelvin DuVal

Kelvin DuVal was born in Boulder and grew up in Longmont, Colorado. Known chiefly for camera work on documentaries and narrative shorts, Kelvin has his mark on the Emmy-nominated short The Talk in the Night (directed by Chris Hanna), in addition to the documentary Carry The Tune which was officially screened at 5 festivals and a winner at San Francisco Film Festival in 2015. DuVal has been filming freelance for the past three years but was previously trained in digital filmmaking at New York Film Academy and currently studies Film Production at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Notably, Kelvin performed internal budget research for Meow Wolf, in addition to camera and PA duties on the film crew for The House of Eternal Return. In conjunction with ongoing film and camera work, DuVal has been a self-taught sound engineer for five years and produces music and graphic design pieces under the guise “KadaVir.” Visit his at website at www.kadavir.com
